Numberline
This allows pupils to practise addition questions using a numberline. There are 19 different types of questions that target specific problems. Once a question type is selected, the questions are randomly generated.
This version of the Numberline supports pupils entering units first, working up to tens and then hundreds. It also enforces strict bridging, so the pupil must reach a bridge point (if there is one) in one step and then use the remaining numbers in the next step. We are considering versions of this tool that will allow the largest numbers to be entered first and that will support combined steps. If you think that this approach would be useful, please let us know and we'll put it onto the development schedule.
For now though, here is the Conker Numberline tool. Please have a go. We hope you find it useful.
Partitioned Vertical Addition
This allows pupils to practise addition questions using the Partitioned Vertical Addition method. There are 17 different types of questions that target specific problems (no decimal questions yet, that's still to come). Once a question type is selected, the questions are randomly generated.
Please have a go. We hope you find it useful. If you notice anything that could be improved, please let us know.
